LOCTITE 243 Thread locker is an improved version of LOCTITE 242, and is the general purpose product in our blue range. It is designed to improve oil tolerance with surface insensitive properties (galvanized fasteners no longer require activator), with the same general benefits of the original Blue Thread locker 242. Applications that would require this type of application include rocker arm bolts, oil pans, disc brake calipers, pulley assemblies and many more.
